The ultimate dog bathrobe - Dogrobes, the drying coats for dogs that are perfect to use after outdoor adventures, swimming, training, bathing and working. Dog lovers love Dogrobes because it's an easy way to dry your dog instead of struggling with a dog towel. They keep your dog warm and are non-restrictive, allowing your pet to move freely while drying. This really is a dog robe and a great alternative to dog towels.
Dogrobes help protect surroundings from the wet, muddy shake off that we all know so well - keeping your home and car clean and dry plus saving time and effort cleaning up.
Simple to fit and more effective than a rub with a dog towel, dogs dry quicker in Dogrobes. They work by absorbing moisture from the dog's coat and trapping their body heat, drying the dog quickly and keeping his muscles warm, in just half an hours wearing time. They really can lounge around in their very own dog robe! So there is no unpleasant wet dog smell to contend with and no more dog towels lying around.
Before ordering, we recommend you measure your dog to get the best fitting Dogrobe. If measuring up isn't an option, you could opt for the breed example shown. And if the Dogrobe is a surprise gift and you're unsure of the size, just get in touch with us. From Maltese size, Cocker Spaniel size to Golden Retriever Size and we even have an option for XL dog breeds.
Finding the right size of Dogrobe couldn't be easier. Follow the step-by-step instructions below.
Grab a tape measure and measure around the girth of your dog (the deepest part of his chest) to find out how many inches or centimetres he is.
Check out our table below to find out which size category your dog's girth measurement falls into. Should you find your dog is between sizes, opt for the size up. The girth measurement is in fact equal to the length of the Dogrobe - from the collar to a few inches over the hindquarters.
TOY 20 inches/51cm Jack Russell XS 24 inches/61cm Cocker Spaniel S 26 inches/66cm Springer Spaniel M 30 inches/76cm Border Collie L 32 inches/81cm Labrador XL 36 inches/91cm German Shepherd
Use our food calculator for a guide on how much to feed your dog.
Feed as part of a balanced diet. Adult dogs should consume 2-3% of their ideal body weight per day and Just Tripe can form a portion of this. Every working dog is different. Adjust portions accordingly. Wash your hands, utensils and surfaces after handling any raw meat.
To give you an idea of portion size, Dexter is an adult male Boxer, weighing 26kgs. We feed him 500gr per day which is a tiny bit under 2% but it works for him as he does have some treats during the day as well. On the other hand, Maisie is a 2 year old female Boxer, weighing 22 kgs and we feed her the same as Dexter. This is because she is a high energy girl who never walks if she can run, so she needs a bit more food every day. So, use the above percentages as a guide and adjust for your dog, afterall, no-one knows them like you do.

Will my order arrive in one go?
Dogs About Town seeks out smaller, niche suppliers to bring you a collection of doggy goodies that's a little bit different from the norm. Because of this, when you order, you might choose goods from several different suppliers and that will mean that your order won't arrive in one package. For example, if you buy a lounge bed, nose-it toy and a chill pad, you'll be supporting 3 different small manufacturers and you'll receive 3 packages. Now, we know, this might seem a bit odd at first, but we hope you'll agree that it's worth it to find something just that little bit different and be able to support some of the smaller but beautifully formed suppliers and manufacturers.

A Quick Word About Packaging:
The world's resources are precious, so whenever we can, we like to reuse packaging that we get sent. Things like those polystyrene chips, shredded paper or bubble wrap. We also try to choose the most environmentally cardboard boxes we can and this means that sometimes, you'll get a box that looks too big for it's contents. But rest assured, we've done our homework and picked the best option we can, plus any packing that we use to fill the box is likely to be on its second use. Phew.
Your dog’s yummy raw food will arrive frozen and will be sent straight to your door by courier – no more lugging heavy sacks or tins back from the shops, yey!
Between Monday – Thursday, if you order before 1pm, your food will arrive the next day. Orders placed after 1pm on Thursday and before 1pm on Monday will arrive on the Tuesday.
If you are not going to be in when your order arrives, please let us know where we can leave it. It is packed so that it will stay frozen for some time after delivery so just make sure you pop it straight in the freezer when you get home.
The minimum order is 6kgs which is about 1 freezer basket full in an average freezer and approximately 2 weeks worth of food for a 20kgs dog. If you’re not sure how much to order, call us free on 0800 644 4662, or use our Portions Calculator.
