Your dog’s liver has a lot to cope with. It has to cleanse toxins from a chemical, mineral or ingestible source. Briefly explained these toxins come from
household cleaning products, pesticides, chemical flea treatments, medication, anaesthetic, commercial pet food additives, poor quality water or harmful
foods that our babies get their paws on such as chocolate!
The liver is susceptible to damage because of its central role in detoxification of the body. Over time an excess of toxins can build up and cause problems
and some breeds may simply be more predisposed to liver related issues.
To avoid problems, it is advisable to give your dogs liver a thorough cleanse every 6-12 months, or as necessary, which can be after anaesthetic, ongoing
medication or if your dog is elderly.
Proflax Liver Love formula is 100% natural. It contains concentrated active herbs Dandelion, Milk Thistle, Yarrow, Artichoke, Schizandra, Yellow Dock and
Liquorice. These herbs have been formulated to offer powerful detoxification of the liver and assist with optimal liver function. The inclusion of
flaxseed oil additionally helps to maintain overall good health of the heart, digestive & reproductive system, supports mobility & circulation,
aids metabolism and gives a shiny coat. The active ingredients provide nutritional support.
Liver Love contains 3 adaptogens which are a unique class of healing herbs that help to balance, restore and protect the body both physically and emotionally.
The herbs in this formula have been selected by a holistic vet for maximum efficacy. Visible relief and health benefits can be seen in as little as
7 days in some dogs.
Feed once daily or every other day depending on the level of support required. Shake well before every use and store in the fridge to maintain freshness.

Ideal for dogs who need a thorough cleanse of their liver after anaesthetic, medication, exposure to chemicals or other toxins. Aids function of the liver in elderly dogs and breeds predisposed to liver problems. Can be used every 12-18 months for a thorough liver cleanse. Suitable for all breeds.
Not recommended for pregnant/nursing dogs and puppies under the age of 8 weeks old. Not to be used if your dog is known to be allergic/reactive to any

guidelines – stop feeding one week prior to and after anaesthetic. Proflax Liver Love can be taken as an integrative approach alongside most medication,
however, we suggest that you check with your own vet first as herbs can sometimes affect the absorption of certain medication.

chemical damage. Rich in vitamins A, C, E, F and K. It also contains manganese, copper, potassium, iodine and iron.
Yellow Dock: Natural liver detoxifier. Stimulates bile production which aids digestion, particularly of fats. Helps to remove lingering waste from the
intestinal tract which prevents toxins from building up in the liver, gallbladder and bloodstream. Contains vitamin C, many different carotenoids including
beta-carotene, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, iron, sulphur, copper, iodine, manganese, and zinc.
Artichoke: high in antioxidants quercetin, rutin, anthocyanins, cynarin, luteolin, and silymarin which increase bile flow and aid the regeneration of liver
tissue. Aid digestion and improves gallbladder function. High in folate, vitamins C & K, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and iron.
Schizandra: An adaptogenic herb that helps increase resistance to environmental and emotional stress. Supports the adrenals. Packed with antioxidants and

A Quick Word About Packaging:
The world’s resources are precious, so whenever we can, we like to reuse packaging that we get sent. Things like those polystyrene chips, shredded paper or bubble wrap. We also try to choose the most environmentally cardboard boxes we can and this means that sometimes, you’ll get a box that looks too big for it’s contents. But rest assured, we’ve done our homework and picked the best option we can, plus any packing that we use to fill the box is likely to be on its second use. Phew.

Can I feed raw to my puppy?
Yes. It’s great to start your puppy off on raw straight away. The puppy range is minced into smaller bits for smaller mouths and it includes Verm-X, which provides a natural and effective control of intestinal hygiene.
Aren't bones dangerous for dogs?
Cooked bones are, yes. They can split into sharp pieces and harm your dog but raw bones are safe for them. You must always supervise your dog when they are eating a raw bone and make sure you choose a bone of appropriate size for your dog.

Feeding your dog a complete raw food diet can have many benefits including;

Can any dog be fed a raw food diet?
Yes it can. Irrespective of breed, shape, age and size – genetically speaking the canine digestive system is the same in all dogs. So no-one needs to miss out. Waggy tails, all round!
How much should I feed my dog?
It depends on your do’s weight and energy levels. Check out our Portions Calculator and it will do the maths for you. Normally, you would feed your dog 2% of its equivalent body weight. So for a 25kg dog like Dexter, you would feed 500gr per day. Very active dogs might need a little bit more. Puppies need a little more – about 6%-8% of their bodyweight per day during their growth spurts, though this will tail off as they near 9 months of age. Again, our portions calculator will tell you how much to serve. It’s important to remember that no-one knows your dog as well as you do, so we always recommend that you use a visual test to keep their portions in line and adjust accordingly
My dog has a sensitive stomach, can they still eat raw food?
Yes. Benyfit Natural have special recipes for dogs with sensitive tummies (containing less offal). And they also have recipes for dogs who can’t eat vegetables (like Dexter), senior dogs and puppies.
